Camfrog Beta Windows Mobile Version Released

Camfrog have announced they are releasing a beta version of camfrog that will operate on Windows enabled mobile devices.

Bear in mind this is a beta release and is likely to have some teething problems, If you have any problems check out the help area at the new website which deals specifically with Camfrog mobile, you can find the site here

Video Chat News: Camfrog Client 1.7 (Mac OS X) Released

It seems these days with the advent of the new Intel based macs, that Mac users are fast getting just as many applications to enjoy cam chat sessions as Windows users have enjoyed for so long.

Hot on the heals of the release of the Windows based Camfrog 5.1, Camfrog’s blog blog.camfrog.com has announced a new release of their new Mac port, Camfrog Client 1.7. With improved stability and larger and improved video quality, mac users should “do themselves a favour” and check it out.

We will be looking to review Camfrog Client 1.7 (Mac OS X) in the not too distant future. In the meantime you can read more about it at the Camfrog blog here

Video Chat News: Yahoo! Messenger for Mac 3.0 beta Update

Over at the Yahoo! Messenger Blog they have announced an update to Yahoo! Messenger for Mac 3.0 beta. The Mac version of Yahoo! Messenger includes webcam functionality as well as most of the features present in the Windows version, with the unique Macintosh feel.

Some of the new features include the ability to set different visibility levels for various friends, just like the windows version, improved stability when running on the same system as Windows Live Messenger and the ability to import your friends who are using Windows Live Messenger.

Video Chat News: iSpQ VideoChat 8 beta 3 for MacOS X

Great news for Mac owners, iSpQ has released iSpQ VideoChat 8 beta 3 for OS X. You can download it and give it a go (bear in mind it is still in beta) over at the iSpQ beta site beta.ispq.com.

You can check out more information at the iSpQ blog. The website is a great place to visit as it contains forums for discussing the beta release as well as downloads. This release works on the newer Intel chip based macs.

Mac users will be pleased to know this release includes intrest lists which enable people to find like minded people by linking them via keywords in their profiles.
